Boynton Beach Police need help identifying a beer thief who head-butted store clerk

Police need the public’s help identifying a man who tried to “slide” out of paying for beer and then head-butted the store clerk who told him no. It happened around 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 at the Kwik Stop at 1305 S. Federal Highway. The suspect, pictured above in the black shirt, grabbed two four-packs of Budweiser from a cooler and put them underneath his shirt. He then walked up to the front counter and asked the clerk if he could “slide” and not pay for the beers. The clerk said no, and the suspect left the store with the beer. When the clerk chased after him and told him to he had called police; the suspect head-butted him.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-10, 175 pounds with blonde hair and a goatee. He was wearing a black shirt and shorts.
