Boynton Beach Police are investigating a shooting that injured an 12-year-boy this afternoon in the 1000 block of Northwest Fourth Street.
Witnesses said a gold or tan SUV pulled in front of the Cherry Hill Mini Market at around 2:45 p.m. Three black males exited the car and began shooting at unknown men standing in the area.
The child, who was down the street from the market, was struck by gunfire. He was taken to a local hospital, where he is being treated and is expected to make a full recovery.
