Boca Raton Police needs the public’s assistance identifying suspect who robbed a man after meeting a prostitute.

Boca Raton, FL – On Sunday, March 23 at 12:55 p.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to a robbery at the Quality Inn, 2899 North Federal Highway. Officers met with the 80 year old victim who said he arranged to meet an escort whom he found on a website. The victim arrived at the hotel at the appointed time. He went to the room and was let in by “Amy.” Once inside the room, the victim felt something wasn’t right and told “Amy” he needed to leave. When he stepped outside the room he was accosted by a male who took his cellphone from his pants pocket. The victim waited in the lobby for police to arrive and while he was waiting, he saw the suspect walk through the lobby and then leave in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured. Detectives investigating the crime made contact with “Amy”; who is actually “Frank”. He told officers he only knows the suspect as “Chief.”
