Detectives from the Boca Raton Police Services Department are investigating a robbery at the Boca Raton Plaza Hotel, which occurred just before 7:30 am on Wednesday morning.  The front desk employee reported that someone ran into the hotel lobby, jumped the counter and stole an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect, who didn’t display a weapon, was depicted on video rummaging through the front desk area then quickly leaving out of the west side of the hotel.  Witnesses say he drove away in a gold BMW.
