Boca Raton Police need the public’s assistance identifying a burglary suspect.

On Tuesday, June 26 at about 8:15 AM, Boca Raton Police officers responded to a burglary to a vehicle on SW 12th Way. The victim told officers his vehicle was locked in the driveway the night before and when he was leaving for work the following morning, he discovered it was broken into and his laptop stolen.

The victim has video surveillance outside his home, which shows that at 4:05 AM, a black male in his twenties used a window punch to shatter the car window. The suspect was wearing a white t-shirt, tan cargo shorts, sneakers, work gloves, and has long braided hair.

Officers are investigating other vehicle burglaries that occurred in the same area. If anyone knows the suspect or has information about any of the burglaries, they are asked to call Detective Derek Mazer at (561) 620-6198 or if you’d like to stay anonymous and be eligible for up to $1,000 REWARD call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477) or text tips to tips@cspbc.com
