Boca Raton Police is investigating a robbery to Pelican Cleaners.

On Wednesday, July 13 at about 5:45 in the afternoon, an employee of Pelican Cleaners, 2901 Clint Moore Road, flagged down a Boca Raton Police officer and told them the store had just been robbed.

The employee, Santios Barrera, said that an unknown male entered the store through the open rear door and went directly to the front.  The suspect was carrying a white plastic bag in one hand and gestured with the other hand, which was in his pocket, as if he had a weapon. The suspect told Barrera to open the register, which she did and then she immediately ran out of the front door of the store.  The suspect took all the cash from the register and left in an unknown direction.
