Boca Raton Police investigate a robbery at 201 SW 7th St., victim was robbed as he arrived home from work.

On Wednesday, May 4, at about 9:05 p.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to a report of a robbery that occurred at 201 SW 7th Street. The victim, Victor Vasquez, told officers he was riding his bicycle home from work at City Fish Market, when he noticed a white male and a black male who appeared to be following him. Vasquez sped up and when he arrived at his apartment, the suspects were already there blocking the entrance to his building. Vasquez ran in an effort to get away, but the suspects caught up with him near the dumpster.

The suspects punched Vasquez numerous times in the shoulders and back then ripped his backpack off his back and fled in an unknown direction. Vasquez told officers he recognized the suspects from the neighborhood. Vasquez was not injured.

Suspects:

#1 Black male, late teens or early 20’s
5’8” to 5’9” tall, chubby build
Short cropped hair, beard and mustache
Wearing all black

#2 White male, late teens or early 20’s

5’7” tall, thin build

Wavy, shoulder length blonde hair

Wearing a white shirt and orange shorts
