Boca Raton Police are seeking public’s assistance with information on an armed robbery

On Tuesday, September 13th at about 9:50 p.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to an armed robbery that occurred in the parking garage of 1515 South Federal Highway.

The victim, Luis Maldonado, told officers he was emptying trash into the dumpster, located in a room on the first level of the parking garage. A male approached him, pointed a silver handgun at him and demanded his jewelry. Maldonado gave the suspect his gold ring and gold necklace. The suspect fled on foot in a southwest direction. The victim was not injured.

Suspect:

Black male, early to mid 20’s
Appx. 6’0” tall, thin build, short hair
Wearing a blue button down shirt, jeans
Black baseball cap and sunglasses
Carrying a silver handgun
