Boca Raton Police are investigating the theft of Gucci watches stolen from Macy’s and needs the public’s assistance.

Boca Raton, FL – On Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at about 9:05 p.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to Macy’s, 5700 West Glades Road, in reference to a suspect who took two watches. The employee told officers that while she was showing a Gucci watch, to who she thought was a male customer, she allowed him to hold it. When he asked to see a second Gucci watch, the suspect grabbed it from her hand and ran away before she could get the other watch back. The suspect then ran out of the store, through the north exit. No weapon was seen or implied. The suspect is described as a black male, late 20’s to early 30’s, 6’0” tall to 6’4” tall, thin build, and wearing a black t-shirt, a black hoodie, blue jean shorts, black and red Air Jordan sneakers. The suspect had long dreadlocks, hazel eyes, and was wearing a black Chicago Bulls hat. The employee was not injured. The watches were valued at approximately $2,800.
