Boca Raton Police are investigating a robbery where the victim was robbed of his necklace.

On Wednesday, September 14 at about 8:10 in the morning, Boca Raton Police officers responded to a report of a robbery that occurred near the Florence Fuller School, 200 NE 14th Street.

The victim, Naby Romain, told officers he had just brought his child to Florence Fuller School and was walking back home. Romain said he was walking between the school and Dixie Manor, when a male walked towards him from Dixie Manor. Speaking to Romain, the suspect said “Haitian man,” then grabbed Romain’s necklace, ripping it off his neck. Romain chased the suspect north to the area of 1455 NE 2nd Court, where he lost sight of him when the suspect jumped the fence that surrounds Dixie Manor.

Suspect:

Black male, 20-30 years old
5’10” tall, short hair, dark complexion
Wearing a light blue t-shirt, dark shorts
