GREEN ACRES, FL-- Greenacres Police say around 3 o'clock Monday morning a 53-year-old woman was shot and robbed on her way to a local convenience store.
The unidentified woman was walking on Fleming Avenue to a Cirle K with a 32-year old friend when police say two men believed walked up them and shot the 53-year-old at least once, then robbed both women.
The unidentified shooting victim was taken to Delray Beach Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries and should be released shortly.
Police are still looking for the suspects. They may have left the scene in a dark vehicle.
