The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and Jupiter Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a Violent Sexual Offender

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office releases NEW composite of Violent Sexual Offender

Detectives from the Special Investigations Division have adopted the July 24, 2009, Village of Palm Springs Public Safety - Violent Sexual Offender Investigation.  After interviewing the victim a new composite is being released in hopes the community can assist detectives with the identity of this very violent sexual offender. 

On April 9, 2009, in the area of Old Dixie Highway in Jupiter a 21 year old, w/f, who was walking at night in her neighborhood was  violently sexually battered, beaten and bitten by her attacker. 

On July 24, 2009, in Palm Springs, a 26 year old, w/f, was attacked in the early morning hours inside her home and sexually battered. (PBSO has adopted this case)

On August 8, 2009, in the area of Forest Hill Blvd. and N Military Trail, a 53 year old w/f, was sitting outside her residence in the late evening hours and was violently sexually battered, beaten and bitten by her attacker.

On January 16, 2010, a 58 year old female was attacked in the area of Lake Worth Road and Congress Avenue, while walking to work in the early morning hours.  She was violently beaten and sexually battered.

** All attacks are believed to have been committed by the same person.

Additional Cases committed by this suspect:

Case 1: Jupiter Police Department case # 09-14283

 

Date:  Thursday, 4/9/09 at approximately 12:30 am

 

Crime occurred near 2nd Street Jupiter along Old Dixie Hwy.

Victim was walking alone at night though an industrial area along Old Dixie Hwy.

Suspect approached the victim from behind and immediately used violence to gain compliance.

Victim described suspect as a Hispanic male 5’6” to 5’8” tall.

 

Case 2: Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office case #09-115003

 

Date: Friday/Saturday, between 11:30 pm on 8/7/09 and 12:30 am on 8/8/09

 

Crime occurred near Forest Hill Blvd and South Military Trail, WPB

Victim was sitting on the front porch of her residence late at night.

Suspect used violence to gain compliance.

Victim describes the suspect as an African-American male 5’7”, 160-180lbs., muscular build, short dark hair, 20’s or 30’s with a  possible Spanish accent, wearing baggie blue jeans and a long sleeve button down, black and red checkered shirt.

Suspect took two rings off of the victims’ fingers.

Case 3: Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office case # 10-026899

 

Date: Saturday, 1/16/10 before 8:30 am

 

Crime occurred near 2887 Lake Worth Road (Congress Ave)

Suspect used violence to gain compliance.

Victim was located in the bushes near the roadway.

Victim is walking early morning hours along Lake Worth Road headed to work.

Victim described the suspect as short 5’2”, thin, strong build, short dark hair, medium skin tone, Spanish accent, wearing a black and white horizontal striped shirt with a black collar.

 

Additional information:

·        Suspect either moves between Jupiter and Lake Worth or moved from Jupiter between April and August to the Lake Worth area.

 

·        Suspect may choose victims based on isolation.

 

·        Suspect has been described as wearing a long sleeve small checked black and red shirt and a black and white striped long sleeve shirt with a black collar during the most recent attack.

 

·        Suspect could have had injuries, scratches or bruises to the face or hands, after the attacks.

 

·        Suspect may have sold or given away the rings taken from one of the victims.

Ring descriptions:

 

1.     gold grandmother’s ring with 5 birthstones in a cluster ( possibly ruby, yellow, dark blue, light blue and pink)

2.     Man’s gold band 6 or 7 tiny diamond chips
