Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance with locating suspects wanted for impersonating Law Enforcement Officers

On Friday, March 4, 2010, approximately 12:45 pm, two unknown suspects approached a victim as he was walking out of his doctor’s office located in the 13000 block of S. Jog Road, Delray Beach.  As the suspects approached the victim, they advised him he had warrants for his arrest and identified themselves as law enforcement officers assigned to a task force.

The unknown suspects led the victim to a maroon Jeep Cherokee where they interviewed him about his prescription use. The suspects then had the victim post a $4800 bond, on scene, for the alleged warrants and confiscated his prescription medication.

If anyone has information regarding suspects impersonating themselves as law enforcement officers or can identify these suspects, they are urged to contact Detective Sabrina Tobey at 688-4715 or if you'd like to stay anonymous and be eligible for up to $1,000 REWARD call Crime Stoppers at 800-458-TIPS.
