Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect wanted for a Counterfeit Check Scam

This suspect is involved in a counterfeit check scam in which Wachovia Bank has sustained a loss of over $50,000.

This suspect’s method of operation was to deposit counterfeit checks into different Wachovia Accounts.  Once the funds were deposited, the accounts were depleted by withdrawals.  These checks were deposited via the banks outside ATM machines.  This suspect and vehicle are seen in every transaction. 

The suspect appears to be a Hispanic male, approximately 30 - 35 years of age.  The vehicle appears to be a black, 4 – door, unknown make and model.
