On Saturday, December 3, 2016, at approximately 4:26 pm, deputies responded to the 50th block of Ferne Lane, Lake Worth, in reference to an injured male. When deputies arrived they found the male, Jose Armando Lopez, deceased on scene from some type of trauma.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division and Crime Scene Investigators arrived on scene to investigate further. Medical Examiner’s personnel arrived and after the Lopez was removed from the scene detectives learned thru evidence that he died of a gunshot wound. Detectives are investigating this incident as a Homicide.
No suspect information or motive is known at this time.
