On Thursday, June 16, 2011, shortly after 3:00 am, two believed to be armed black males approached a male sleeping in a white van in the parking lot of Military Trail and Community Drive, West Palm Beach.  The black males forced the male victim to drive to an ATM and withdraw cash. 

As the victim was driving from the ATM a red vehicle driving on the roadway caught the attention of the black males.  The male victim was forced to follow the red vehicle into a residential neighborhood.  When the red vehicle stopped the two black male approached/carjacked the victim in the red vehicle.  At the time the male in the white vehicle was able to escape, drive to a well-lit populated area and called 911.  The male was able to give deputies a good description of the suspects and victims vehicle. 

Deputies located the red vehicle and pursed the vehicle until it came to a stop on “T” Street and West 12th, Riviera Beach.  The suspects bailed out of the vehicle on foot.  The victim (female) in the red vehicle was not injured.  A perimeter has been set up.  Deputies, police officers from West Palm Beach and Riviera Beach Police Departments are currently searching for the black males.
