Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office is investigating a Sexual Assault where the suspect may be seeking Medical Assistance

On Friday, September 23, 2011, at approximately 6:10 am, a 22 year old female began walking east bound on 10th Avenue North, West Palm Beach.   As the victim was walking past Florida Mango she was attacked from behind by an unknown Hispanic male.   The victim tried fighting the male off.  
 
The victim stated the male covered her mouth with one hand wrapped his other arm around her waist carrying her behind the shrubs then fell to the ground.  The victim bit the index finger of the suspect.  The suspect became very angry and began to bite the left side of the victims face.   The suspect demanded the victim remove her clothes  when she refused, the suspect pushed his elbow and forearm onto the left side of her neck which caused her to pass out.   When the victim woke up, her clothes were removed and her purse was gone.  

The suspect is described an Hispanic male, approximately 25 years of age, 5’05” to 5’06”, with dark straight shoulder length hair.  He spoke clear English.  The suspect possibly had an earring in one ear.   At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.  The suspect possibly has an injury (bite mark) to his right or left index finger.
