At approximately 12:20 am on Saturday PBSO responded to a shooting call in the 600 block of MLK Blvd., in Belle Glade. Upon arrival, Deputies were told that two black males were in a verbal argument. Sometime during that altercation on of the men produced a hand gun and fired at the other. The projectile missed its intended target and struck the victim, Afra Williams (DOB: 12/23/71) in the back.

Williams was transported to Delray Medical Center in stable condition.
