Delray Beach Police ask asking the public to help identify jewelry thief

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – Police are asking the public to help identify a jewel thief who stole a $4,200 ring earlier this month from the Delray Beach Antique Mall.

The theft happened on March 8th at the store at 504 E. Atlantic Ave., according to Delray Beach police.

A man caught on the store surveillance video is suspected of distracting the sales clerk and nabbing a platinum ring with sapphires, rubies and diamonds on it.The man was dirty and missing several teeth, police said.
