Boynton Beach Police investigating a purse theft at a Gateway Mobil gas station.

On March 28, Boynton Beach Police were called to a burglary in progress at a Mobil gas station on West Gateway Boulevard. A 59-year-old woman was exiting the convenience store when she saw a man in a Pontiac Grand Am smash the driver’s side window of her Mercedes C 300 and grab her purse. Surveillance video shows the suspect vehicle circling the victim’s vehicle several times, even driving by very closely at one point to see if anything valuable was left in the car.
