Boynton Beach Police are investigating a shooting of a teenager

Boynton Beach Police are investigating the shooting of a teenager who was found in a car Monday night with a gunshot wound to his lower back. Police were called to the 300 block of Northeast 13th Avenue at 10:30 p.m., and found the 15-year-old boy in the backseat of a car. Four of his friends, who were there when he was shot, told police that the shooting took place in another car. Police found that car, which had several bullet holes on the exterior, in the 100 block of Northeast 14th Avenue.

The teen was taken via trauma alert to Delray Medical Center. He remains there in stable condition.
