Boca Raton Police are investigating an armed robbery at Quality Inn

Boca Raton, FL – On Wednesday, March 23 at approximately 10:00 p.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that had just happened at the Quality Inn, 2899 North Federal Highway.

The clerk told officers that a white male, armed with a handgun, entered the hotel lobby and demanded money. The suspect took about $30 from the register then left the hotel and was last seen running toward the rear of the hotel. The clerk was not injured.

A blue, newer model vehicle, possibly a BMW, with tinted windows and silver rims was seen driving through the parking lot just prior to the robbery, and was seen leaving just after the robbery.

The suspect is described as being a w/m, approximately 25-35 years of age, approx. 5’11” with a thin build, and a reddish beard. He was seen wearing a black and white striped sport coat, black t-shirt, black baseball cap, and jeans. He was also armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
